Augmented Reality Ghosts

We visited Preston Manor (part of Brighton and Hove Museums) yesterday for an initial reconnaissance mission regarding our forthcoming augmented reality ghost project – the idea essentially is to create an application that will allow a smart phone to become a “ghost viewer”, allowing visitors to the manor to discover ghosts at various locations on the site. It was the first time I had been inside the manor, since it is currently closed for restoration work. However, it was well worth the wait – I was stunned by the interior and coupled with the ghostly history of the site feel that the final experience will be extremely strong and immersive. I am very excited about the progression of the project!
