Action Impulse

This is an implementation of a WebGL heightmap that I wrote, using tutorial 7 from as a boilerplate skeleton. It takes a 2D image and creates a 3D surface, with lighter areas of the image representing a greater height and vice-versa.

This experiment is part of my research into data abstraction and alteration/loss of context. I eventually intend to animate the mesh, perhaps using audio as a trigger. Click the link below to view the demo.
